The Motorola i335 is a thin iDEN phone that is sure to please Nextel loyalists. The candy bar model is sturdy and solid, and while the interface is not flashy, it is certainly functional and reliable. At 4.7 inches by 1.8 inches by 0.5 inch, it loses much of the bulk that characterized earlier models of Nextel phones. The design…
succeeds because it is the essence of simplicity, with a focus on it's fashionable, but rather because it's simple and practical.
The Motorola i335 features include GPS, speakerphone, Java, voice dialing, and, of course, Push To Talk. The 600-contact phone book has room in each entry for seven phone numbers, an e-mail address, an IP address, a Direct Connect number and a Talkgroup number. Other essentials include vibrate mode, text & multimedia messaging, call forwarding, calendar, voice recorder, call timers, and a notepad. This cell phone has a main display with 130 x 130 pixel resolution and support for over 65 thousand colors. The Motorola i335 is compatible with Sprint's Nextel network.

I'm happy with the phone and the features loaded in it. It looks great and also weighs less. I've dropped this phone ample number of times and could not even find even a single scratch on it. It does what a basic phone should do and there's nothing special about this phone.
I bought this one to be used as a spare and should say I've started liking this phone a lot than my main cellphone, Motorola i776. Voice quality is excellent and the phone is covered in a rubber coating which gives me a sure grip. It feels durable and sturdy like it could take a fall.
It was very surprising to find a nice rugged phone in Nextel's line up. I've been using Nextel's service past 8 years and i335 is a nice buy. It's much lighter than most of the available phones and also has the features that I need. Battery back-up is nice and call quality is excellent.
I recently gifted this phone to my uncle who's not into texting, browsing or any other things and he was very happy with the phone. This is what he had to say, “Big buttons are easy to see, volume gets loud. Great audio quality, excellent service, it even works in the basement, good battery life.” So people who just want a basic phone with some basic features can go for this one.
